Fulbari, 28th April: The road stretching about one and a half kilometers from Kanchanbari to Fulbari Bazar has remained in poor condition for a long time.
Reportedly, during the rainy season, waterlogging and mud make the road unfit for walking, while in summer, dust and sand cause significant inconvenience to residents and commuters.
Locals stated that although the road was constructed years ago, it has not been repaired since, leading to the development of numerous potholes. Accumulated rainwater in these potholes has made commuting difficult.
Expressing their distress, residents said they would resort to a road blockade protest if immediate action is not taken.
Meanwhile, when contacted, the local panchayat member declined to comment.
