Fulbari man goes missing on return journey from South India, family in distress

Fulbari, 26th August: A man from Fulbari has gone missing while returning home from South India, leaving his family in distress. The missing individual, identified as Kartik Mandal (55), is a resident of the Bhalobhasa More, Panchkolguri area under Fulbari I Gram Panchayat near Siliguri.


According to reports, Kartik Mandal left Chennai on August 21 by train, intending to return home. His daughter mentioned that Kartik had gone to Chennai on August 9 to earn a living and support his family but fell ill during his stay. Despite boarding the train five days ago, there has been no contact or information about his whereabouts.

The family has lodged a missing person complaint with the New Jalpaiguri police station and the Government Railway Police (GRP). They have urged the authorities to take swift action in locating him. The family has also requested the public to share any information that could help, providing a contact number: 70298-38978.
