Fulbari High School waterlogged after heavy rain, students and teachers face difficulties

Fulbari, 29th August: Continuous rain since Thursday night left Fulbari High School waterlogged, creating major inconvenience for students and teachers on Friday.

Reportedly, water accumulated up to knee level in the school premises, forcing students to wade through it to enter classrooms.

On receiving information, Dabgram-Fulbari Trinamool Congress Block President Dilip Roy, Fulbari II Gram Panchayat Pradhan Rafiqul Islam, along with local leaders, visited the school and assured steps to resolve the issue.

Acting Headmaster Abhishek Roy stated that while the school has sufficient drainage facilities, there is no proper outlet for water to flow out from the field, causing it to remain stagnant. He added that efforts are being made to drain the water at the earliest.
