Rajganj, 15th October: With the final countdown before the major Bengali festival, the last-minute preparations for Durga puja pandals across Bengal are in full swing. On that note, the Fulbari Battala Durga Puja Committee, adjacent to Siliguri, did not fall behind in prepping for their 44th year of Durga Puja celebrations with the specialized theme of “Karmayagya”.
According to reports, the Fulbari Battala Puja Committee is well-known for preparing the large budgeted themed Pujas in Rajganj block for years. Speaking in this regard, the Chairman of the Committee, Ashish Kumar Pramanik, stated that the 44th year of Durga puja celebrations will comprise a pandal with an estimated budget of Rs 20 lakhs. He further stated that the conceptual theme of “Karmayagya” displayed the craftsmanship of the artisans.
In addition, a cultural program will also be organized during the Durga Puja. The Chairman predicted that similar to the previous years, a sizable crowd of devotees is anticipated to attend the Durga Puja this year.
