Kharibari, 25th July: A freight truck veered off the road and plunged towards a reservoir in the Balaijhora area near the National Highway-327, adjacent to Kharibari.
According to reports, the incident took place when the truck was travelling from Siliguri to Bihar on Thursday. The truck accidentally lost control and plunged towards a roadside reservoir. Upon receiving the information, the Kharibari police promptly arrived at the scene and managed to retrieve the truck with the aid of a crane vehicle.
At present, the authorities have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
