Kharibari, 02nd October: A freight truck overturned after losing control on National Highway 327 at the Dhakru More area near Panitanki in Kharibari.
Reports indicate that the truck was en route from Siliguri to Bihar when it attempted to overtake another truck at the said location. During this, the vehicle veered off the road and overturned into a nearby trench. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or casualties from the incident.
The police officials of the Panitanki Outpost and Kharibari traffic police promptly arrived at the scene. The truck was later recovered with the help of a crane an investigation into the incident was initiated.
