Siliguri, 27th June: A free COVID-19 vaccination camp was organized for patients with leprosy today at Kalwar Bhawan, Siliguri. Padma Shri awardee Karimul Haque was present as the chief guest in the camp, which was organized by Kalwar Sarwargiya Samaj and the voluntary organization Unique Foundation.
As per the Kalwar Sarwargiya Samaj, about 60 leprosy patients were vaccinated free of cost today. All were given a dose of the Covishield vaccine. Also, food items will be distributed among 50 COVID-19 affected families in the Kawakhali area later in the evening.
