Fourth accused arrested in Maynaguri ATM Robbery Case, one still absconding

Rajganj, 17th June: In a major breakthrough in the Maynaguri ATM robbery case, police have arrested the fourth accused, while one more suspect remains absconding.


According to reports, the latest arrest was made on Monday night in the Bhotpara area under the Bhorer Alo Police Station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police. The accused, identified as Naresh Kohli, is a resident of Haryana.

Though no cash was recovered from his possession, investigators believe he played an active role in the robbery that took place in the Boulbari area of Maynaguri. Following his arrest, he was handed over to Maynaguri police and is currently being interrogated.


With this, four individuals involved in the case have been apprehended so far, and authorities have recovered ₹15.48 lakh. The police have confirmed that five people were part of the criminal ring and are hopeful of nabbing the last remaining accused soon.
