Siliguri, 17th May: In a horrifying accident, a four-wheeler lost control and crashed at the Buri Balason Bridge in Bagdogra. Fortunately, all occupants of the vehicle escaped the mishap.
According to reports, the incident unfolded when a family was en route from MM Tarai in Bagdogra on a four-wheeler to seek medical attention in Siliguri. During this, the driver lost control, leading to a collision with the divider on Buri Balason Bridge. Subsequently, the wheels detached from the vehicle.
Meanwhile, the Bagdogra Traffic Guard officials rushed to the spot after receiving the news. The vehicle was subsequently recovered while the police are investigating the entire incident.
