Siliguri, 28th November: The Bhakti Nagar police have arrested four miscreants in connection with three separate cases of theft.
Reportedly, in the first case, on September 24, pipes and wires of an AC were stolen from PCM House. A written complaint was lodged at Bhakti Nagar police station. During the investigation, the police arrested two individuals, Mohammad Chhotu and Ramprasad Mandal. Mohammad Chhotu resides in Ashraf Nagar, while Ramprasad Mandal’s residence is in Ward No. 44 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
The second theft occurred on November 12 in the Industrial Estate area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bhakti Nagar police station. Upon receiving the complaint, the police initiated an investigation and arrested Papon Das, a resident of NJP, after gathering several clues.
In the third case, during the investigation of a theft at a shop in the Industrial Estate on November 26, the police arrested Sanjay Das of Fakdaibari. Stolen goods were recovered from the four accused.
On Thursday, all the accused were presented in the Jalpaiguri court. The police are continuing their investigation into the cases.
