Siliguri, 18th March: Four miscreants who allegedly committed crimes in another state and went into hiding in Siliguri were arrested from a hotel in the Hill Cart Road area by the Special Operation Group, Siliguri Police Station and Khalpara Outpost police.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Rizwan Alam, Azad Alam, Md Imran Akhtar and Sher Md, all residents of Champaran in Bihar.
According to sources, the four had checked into the hotel on Monday but had not been stepping out of their room, raising suspicion among the hotel authorities. As their behaviour appeared unusual, the matter was reported to the police.
