Siliguri, 25th April: A gang of 8-10 people was planning to commit a major crime in the Pipeline area under Ward No. 30 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. Upon receiving this information, the undercover cops of Siliguri police station launched a raid and arrested four youths before they could commit the crime. While some managed to escape.
The accused have been identified as Pradeep Das, Vicky Sahni, Sanjeev Das, and Mohammad Jamil. Many weapons have also been recovered from the accused. On Friday, all of the accused were presented in the Siliguri court. Currently, the police are investigating the entire incident.
