Siliguri, 22nd September: The Siliguri police thwarted a robbery attempt and arrested four criminals in the process. The arrested individuals have been identified as Palash Mondal, Mohammad Bappa, Pramod Sahani, and Bikki Sahani.
According to reports, late Saturday night, the police received a tip-off about a group of miscreants plotting a robbery near the Bharat Nagar underpass. Acting swiftly, a team of officers launched an operation and arrested four of the suspects. However, some members of the gang managed to escape when they were alerted of police presence.
The four accused were presented before the Siliguri court on Sunday. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
