Cooch Behar, 09th February: Four municipal councilors of the Cooch Behar Municipal Corporation joined the Trinamool Congress on Saturday night. The move comes at a vital time as the municipal elections are just around the corner.
As per the report, two independent councilors and two Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) councilors joined the Trinamool Congress. In a private hotel in Cooch Behar, Trinamool Congress District President Binay Krishna Barman, North Bengal Development Minister Rabindranath Ghosh welcomed the people to the party by giving them the party’s flag.
