Siliguri, 21st September: Four miscreants have been arrested by the Pradhan Nagar police for allegedly gathering to plan a robbery. The arrested suspects have been identified as Siva Barman, Khokon Mahant, Rakesh Sah, and Mithun Khatik.
Reportedly, on Friday night, the police received a tip-off about a group of miscreants gathering in a field near the Dagapur Tea Estate. Acting on the information, officers from Pradhan Nagar Police Station swiftly arrested the four individuals.
According to police sources, the group was planning a robbery within the jurisdiction of the Pradhan Nagar police station. Several weapons intended for use in the robbery were recovered from the suspects. The accused were presented in Siliguri court on Saturday. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
