Naxalbari, 24th February: With the announcement of the state budget, focus has shifted to rural development, bringing long-awaited relief to the residents of Mangalsing in Hatighisa, Naxalbari, as they will soon get a paved road.
On Monday, with financial assistance from RIDF, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh laid the foundation stone for a 5.5 km road from Mangalsing to Gedla Jote.
Naxalbari Panchayat Samiti Karmadhyaksha Ashraf Ansari, Hatighisa Pradhan Catherine Tamang, and others were present at the event. The local residents expressed their happiness over the commencement of the road project.
