Rajganj, 11th February: Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy laid the foundation stone for a series of development works under the ‘Amader Para, Amader Samadhan’ scheme on Wednesday.
The projects were inaugurated through separate programmes across four gram panchayats of Rajganj block, Kukurjan, Sannyasikata, Binnaguri and Mantadari.
It has been reported that development works worth approximately ₹3.5 crore will be undertaken in the Binnaguri area alone. Based on proposals received from applicants, the projects include construction and renovation of roads, drinking water supply arrangements, drainage systems and installation of street lights, among other public welfare initiatives.
Among those present at the programmes were Rajganj Panchayat Samiti president Rupali Dey Sarkar, Zilla Parishad members Ranbir Majumdar and Uttara Barman, gram panchayat pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed, along with other public representatives and administrative officials.
