Siliguri, 12th June: After the state government imposed partial lockdown following the outbreak of coronavirus, the people living in the city’s redlight areas are struggling to make ends meet.
In view of this, ormer councilor Pintu Ghosh of Siliguri’s Ward No. 7 and Congress leader Sayan Ghosh extended a helping hand. For the last few days, they have been delivering the cooked meals to the people living in the said areas and to the needy in different parts of the city. Around 600 people are being provided with the aid daily.
