Darjeeling, 23rd March: The people in the hills have been terrified due to the coronavirus outbreak. The Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) has released advisories to prevent the coronavirus outbreak and to alert people.
Meanwhile, a lockdown has been announced from 23rd March 4 pm to 27th March. The GTA has urged the people to stay alert and to take precautionary measures beforehand and raise awareness among others.
Special initiatives have been taken for the GTA sector to avoid a food crisis in the hills. Meanwhile, the GTA Chairman Anit Thapa distributed food items among the children in various areas of Darjeeling, today.
