Siliguri, 12th July: ‘Food for All’ and ‘Rimjhim’ schemes have been inaugurated under the initiative of Lions Club International District 322F. The project was inaugurated at the district headquarters by District Governor Shankar Kumar Das.
It has been learned that food will be distributed among 3 lakh people through the ‘Food for All’ project. Besides, umbrellas will be handed over to 4,000 needy people under the Rimjhim project.
In this regard, District Governor Shankar Kumar Das said that the first project of Lions 322F is ‘Food for All’. This programme will continue for the next 52 weeks. Food will be provided to the needy in different parts of the city. On the other hand, the Rimjhim project has been inaugurated, under which, umbrellas will be provided to the needy.
