Siliguri, 20th January: To mark the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the Bidhan Market Byabasayee Samity in Siliguri is set to organise a flower exhibition fair, which will enter its 26th year this time.
The organisers announced the event during a press conference held at the Siliguri Journalists’ Club on Tuesday. The flower exhibition fair will be held from 23rd January to 26th January.
The fair will showcase a wide variety of colourful flowers of different species, expected to draw large crowds. Competitive events will also be organised during the exhibition.
Key attractions of the fair will include a sit-and-draw competition, a blood donation camp, along with several other social and cultural programmes. Organisers said the event aims to encourage community participation while paying tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
