Cooch Behar, 24th April: Sensation prevailed in the area following the recovery of socket bombs from Sitalkuchi of Cooch Behar on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the locals spotted the bombs on the banks of the River Khutamara at Purba Sitalkuchi village of Sitalkuchi block. The matter was promptly reported to the police.
Upon being alerted, the cops of Sitalkuchi police station arrived at the spot and recovered five socket bombs. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation.
