Islampur, 22nd May: Five fresh COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from the Islampur subdivision area under North Dinajpur district on Thursday.
Islampur SDO Khurshid Alam stated that the patients have been admitted to the Raiganj COVID-19 Hospital. A separate quarantine center has also been arranged for their family members, where they will be kept under doctor’s supervision.
According to sources, four, out of the five patients, are residents of Chopra block and the other is a resident of the Chakulia block. Chief Health Officer Rabindranath Pradhan stated that they used to work as laborers in Delhi and its surrounding areas and have returned home recently.
