Siliguri, 13th May: The Siliguri Organizational District BJP Mandal leaders, on Wednesday, staged a symbolic protest demanding the State Government to waive off electricity bills for the next 3 months.
As per the report, Siliguri Mandal-7 Yuva President Kiran Ghosh and 4 other leaders were arrested by the police in this regard.
Upon receiving the news, a group of representatives, under the leadership of the BJP Yuva Morcha District President Kanchan Debnath, reached the police station and raised a demand to release them immediately. However, the police later released the arrested leaders on bail.
