Siliguri, 20th January: In a significant breakthrough, the cops of Pradhan Nagar police station successfully apprehended five miscreants before committing a major crime from Ward No. 1 in Siliguri. The arrested accused have been identified as Sunil Tamang, Arun Biswakarma, Rajesh Kumar, Ujjwal Chhetri, and Mohammad Mustaq.
According to police sources, during patrolling on Friday night, a few miscreants were spotted in suspicious circumstances. Subsequently, the cops in the patrolling van apprehended all the miscreants.
Upon interrogation, the police gained vital information regarding the gathering in plans to execute a major crime. In addition, the police recovered several sharp weapons from the miscreants and arrested the accused. On Saturday, the police presented all accused before the Siliguri Court.
