Siliguri, 03rd March: Sensation prevailed after a large number of dead fishes were sighted floating in Siliguri’s Mahananda river.
It was reported that many people gathered near the river banks and started collecting these fishes.
As per the report, such a scenario was also experienced a few months ago, after which the environmentalists expressed concern and feared that the reason behind the deaths was lack of oxygen or water pollution.
