Fish seller’s son becomes school topper in Siliguri

Siliguri, 03rd June: Sachin Shah, a student of Siliguri Bharti Hindi High School, became the school topper in the Madhyamik examination by securing a total of 464 marks. Sachin’s father Khobari Shah sells fish in Darjeeling and earns a monthly income of 7-8 thousand rupees. There are total 7 members in his family. The pandemic was tough on the family. Despite this, Sachin worked hard and performed excellently in his examinations. 
Since the news spread around, Sachin’s neighbours reached his house to congratulate him. Due to his achievement, his parents have also acquired a new identity in the area. Sachin Sah stated that despite being financially tight, he achieved his goal with the cooperation of his parents and school teachers. He did not expect that he would top the whole school. He aspires to become a doctor.
