Siliguri, 29th November: Firhad Hakim, the Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Government of West Bengal, arrived in Siliguri today.
Hakim is likely to join a TMC rally tomorrow and will also attend the unveiling ceremony of Mahatma Gandhi statue built under the initiative of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
It is to be noted, Mihir Goswami recently left TMC and joined BJP. On the other hand, Shuvendu Adhikari also resigned from the State cabinet. Now, all eyes are on Firhad Hakim and numerous rumours are circling around him.
In this context, addressing the media at a hotel in Matigara, Hakim said that Shuvendu Adhikari has not yet decided to change any party. However, he also mentioned that the party would not be affected in any way due to the ones who have decided to leave the party.
