Naxalbari, 10th May: A stir erupted in Naxalbari Bazar as flames engulfed a cow shed. Locals were alarmed when they noticed smoke billowing from the shed on Friday.
Following this, the incident was reported to the fire department. Significantly, prompt action was taken by locals to douse the flames before the Naxalbari fire department arrived on the scene and effectively contained the blaze. However, the source of the fire remains unknown.
In response to the news, Arun Ghosh, Sabhadhipati of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, promptly arrived at the site to assess the situation.
