Siliguri, 21st January: Along with the nation and the state, the students of Siliguri were provided with a special training by the fire brigade employees and officers, in a private school today.
The special training was held on behalf of the fire department today in a private school adjacent to Matigara in Siliguri, under which students were made aware of the steps to be taken during a fire.
Fire Officer Ashish Puttunda stated that along with the whole country, the trial has been organized in Siliguri also. This training is being imparted mainly in government and private schools of the state. Fire officials from Mirik, Matigara and Siliguri were present during the programme.
The school authorities stated that such a programme has been taken to raise awareness among the students.
