Siliguri, 07th January: Sensation prevailed after a major fire broke out at a residence in Siliguri’s Raja Ram Mohan Road near Hakimpara. An elderly man, identified as Prabhas Chandra Baul (68) died in the incident.
Reportedly, the locals sighted the fire and informed the fire brigade. The team recovered the body of the man and sent it to Siliguri District Hospital. However, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
