Naxalbari, 17th February: A fire broke out in a pile of straw stored near the houses in Dayaram Jote of the Maniram Gram Panchayat of Naxalbari block.
According to sources, a fire broke out in a pile of straw stored near the houses in Dayaram Jote of Maniram Gram Panchayat of Naxalbari block, on Sunday night. The fire department was immediately informed about the incident. Upon receiving the news, two fire engines arrived at the scene. The fire was soon brought under control.
