Kharibari, 20th December: A private finance company employee went missing while collecting an installment payment from a customer in Kharibari, causing concern for his family. The employee’s motorcycle was later recovered from the side of the Kharibari-Ghoshpukur state road.
The missing employee, Asit Pal, had traveled from his home in Haiderpara, Siliguri, to collect an installment payment from a customer in Kharibari. After failing to receive the payment, he reportedly started returning home and has not been seen since.
His motorcycle was recovered on Friday evening from the Sonachandi tea garden area by the police.
The incident has left his wife distraught, and a missing complaint has already been filed at the local police station.
Family has urged for a prompt investigation to locate him. The finance company has also requested that their employee be traced immediately.
