Rajganj, 01st March: Massive fire engulfed a house into ashes in Sahebpara adjacent to the border of Rajganj.
Reportedly, a fierce fire broke out in the home of Parimal Basunia, a resident of the Sahebpara area adjacent to the border of Sukhani Gram Panchayat under Rajganj block, on Tuesday night. Due to this, the said house was burnt to ashes. The fire was brought under control with the efforts of local and BSF personnel. Later, a fire engine from Fulbari reached the spot.
However, no one was at home at the time of the incident hence, no casualty has been reported. But, the cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. It is being pointed out that arson incidents occur in the area quite frequently and thus the residents have demanded a fire station in the Rajganj area.
