Siliguri, 30th May: A field hospital for helpless COVID patients will be inaugurated tomorrow, i.e. May 31 at Tinbatti more. Initially, 20 beds with oxygen cylinders will be available at the hospital.
The hospital has been set up under the joint venture of Liver Foundation West Bengal, Indian Chamber of Commerce, Siliguri Welfare Organization, and Forum for Humanity Welfare Organization.
The field hospital has been set up for those who do not have the means to get proper treatment or who have spent their entire wealth while undergoing treatment but the affected person has not fully recovered.
COVID patients will be treated here completely free of cost. Arrangements of doctors, nurses, medicines, and meals have been done at the hospital. This is the first field hospital that has been set up in North Bengal.
