Siliguri, 28th January: FICCI FLO Siliguri organized a humanitarian and social welfare program offering free eye check-ups and distribution of sanitary pads.
Poonam Sharma, National President of FICCI FLO, stated that the organization has been tirelessly serving people for the past 42 years. She emphasized that the initiative aims to empower girls to stand on their own feet, progress independently, and assist others when needed.
Through FICCI FLO, girls receive training in sewing, makeup, and various skill development courses. These programs are designed to provide them with future employment opportunities.
Payal Periwal, Chairperson of FICCI FLO, added that the organization’s main objective is to provide girls with opportunities to work independently. The initiatives ensure that girls do not lag behind in society and can achieve greater heights through their skills and potential.
