Siliguri, 16th April: In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases across the city, several female e-rickshaw (toto) drivers wore PPE kits and took to the streets to raise awareness among the citizens.
Despite such an alarming situation, people fail to understand its gravity and are often spotted in the streets without masks. Therefore, such an initiative was taken.
They urged all to wear masks on the day of the election i.e. tomorrow. Besides, they asked all to use hand sanitizers frequently and maintain social distancing.
