Kurseong, 11th June: Suren Tamang, a resident of Kurseong and his son Subham Tamang, returned home today after successfully beating COVID-19.
It is to recall, the father-son duo was undergoing treatment at Matigara COVID Hospital, for the past few days. Following this, they were discharged after their swab test came back negative two consecutive times.
As a precautionary measure, the Goethals Siding Nawin Gram Sudhar Samaj of Kurseong advised the father and son to stay at the Quarantine Center for a few days.
After completing the norms, the duo returned home today and was offered khada by the Goethals Siding Nawin Gram Sudhar Samaj members. The Society President, Secretary, society representatives, health workers and Asha Karmi(ICDS) were present on the occasion.
