Gajoldoba, 16th April: Farmers along the Takimari River banks in Gajoldoba are facing financial distress due to poor vegetable cultivation this year. The yield of various vegetables, including ridge gourd, chili, and cucumber, has been below expectations, leading to significant financial losses.
According to the farmers, the decreased yield is a result of irregular weather patterns, lack of timely rainfall, extreme temperatures, and pest infestations. Many farmers, who have taken loans for their agricultural activities, are now struggling with heightened concerns due to the current crop crisis.
