Alipurduar, 08th January: An incident of a wild elephant attack surfaced where a family was affected in Bangkandi village of Jateswar I Gram Panchayat under Alipurduar district.
As per reports, on Monday, the elephant attacked a residence in the said area and damaged the wall, a bike, and a scooter parked inside the house. In addition, the wild tusker also destroyed paddy stored in the house.
Local sources revealed that the elephant was on a rampage for about an hour. Consequently, an atmosphere of panic prevailed in the area.
