Dalkhola, 09th October: The excise department of Uttar Dinajpur district launched operations at Dalkhola’s Bhusamani Deepchar area and seized a huge quantity of fake liquor worth 5.5 lakh rupees.
It has been learned that on Friday, the operation was launched in the presence of Gautam Das, the Additional Superintendent of West Bengal Excise Department Malda Division. Besides, various pieces of equipment were recovered.
According to police excise sources, the liquor was being made illegally to smuggle into Bihar.
