Darjeeling, 03rd April: Ration, masks and sanitizers were distributed by the Bhutpurv Sainik Sangathan (Ex-Servicemen Organization) of Sonada amid the coronavirus pandemic.
25 families of the Sonada area were provided with a week’s ration by the Ex-Servicemen. The items were distributed among the locals by maintaining social distance (a minimum of 1 m).
While addressing the media, Ramesh Rai, a member of the Sonada Bhutpurv Sainik Sangathan, today, stated that the organization members distributed ration, masks and sanitizers among the people to provide support during the pandemic. He stated that the programme was conducted by maintaining social distance.
