Siliguri, 11th June: Due to the cancellation of events because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event management companies have been affected to a great extent.
As per the information, around 50 thousand people in North Bengal, employed in several event management companies are living under severe crisis.
In this context, several citizens have planned to approach State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb with a 7-point demand. They further warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
