Endangered gecko rescued in Naxalbari

Naxalbari, 25th July: A rare species of gecko was sighted in the Raipara area of Naxalbari, on Monday night. The reptile was found prowling inside a residence in the locality. The locals quickly gathered and managed to trap the gecko to ensure its safety. They promptly alerted the Tukriajhar Forest Department about the discovery. Upon receiving the news, the forest personnel acted swiftly and arrived at the scene and rescued the gecko.
