Jalpaiguri, 12th March: A wild elephant entered the residential area in search of food in the North Dangapara village of Sakoya Jhora-1 Gram Panchayat in Jalpaiguri.
According to sources, a wild elephant entered the residential area, late night on Wednesday, and went on a rampage in four houses and a shop in the area. Meanwhile, the agitated locals have demanded compensation for the incident as soon as possible.
