Siliguri, 10th January: The electric passenger train service will run from the NJP station in Siliguri, from today. According to the railway sources, the Shatabdi Express will run from Howrah to NJP with the help of the electric engine, while the New Jalpaiguri Malda Town Passenger will leave from NJP towards its destination.
The Chief Public Relations Officer of the Northeast Frontier Railway, Shubhanan Chand, stated that it had been decided, earlier, by the railways that the electric passenger train service will run on January 13, in the presence of the General Manager Sanjeev R, however, the service has been started from today itself.
