Alipurduar, 25th July: An elderly man was found hanging from a noose in Dakshin Mandabari village, located under Kalchini Block. The deceased has been identified as Bana Urav (70), a resident of Lakra Road.
According to reports, on Tuesday morning, local residents found the elderly man’s body hanging from a tree in front of his house. They informed the Kalchini Police Station and the police arrived at the scene, recovered the body of the deceased, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. As of now, the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the entire incident.
