Fulbari, 01st April: A 65-year-old man, Sofiyar Rahman, who went to the market for Eid shopping, has gone missing. He is a resident of Purba Dhantala in Fulbari and has been untraceable for the past two days.
Family sources report that Sofiyar Rahman left for the Fulbari market on Sunday afternoon to buy items for Eid. When he did not return home by evening, his family informed their relatives and neighbors, but his whereabouts remained unknown.
On Monday, the family filed a written missing person report at the New Jalpaiguri police station. The police are currently conducting a search for the missing man. Anyone with information is urged to contact: 98325-80320.
