Siliguri, 17th June: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a major crackdown on Tuesday morning, conducting simultaneous raids at six different locations across Siliguri in connection with a financial corruption case.
According to sources, the ED is carrying out search operations at two houses in the Notun Para area, three in Khalpara, and one in Lake Town. Central forces have been deployed at all locations since early morning to assist in the ongoing operation.
The raids are part of an ongoing investigation into alleged financial irregularities. Notably, a few days earlier, the ED had also raided a residence in Notun Para and arrested one individual in connection with the case.
Search operations remain in progress as officials continue their investigation.
