A team comprising of three members of the Election Commission of India (ECI) is likely to visit the state on August 19. As per sources, the visit is aimed at reviewing the preparations for the upcoming 2024 general elections. The said delegation would be headed by Deputy Election Commissioner in charge of West Bengal, Nitesh Byas.
